Nobody needs to buy anything expensive.

Why buy a Mercedes when you can get an old Mondeo? Why buy a £700 suit when you can buy one from Topman for £200? Why get a villa when you can stay in a basic hotel? Why buy an expensive pram when you can take someones old one?

There is no wrong or right, to suggest otherwise is laughable.

A whole pound? That's a bit cheap. Ours have always had a fiver, I thought that was standard.

She only buys sweets with it anyway, a fivers worth of sweets is ridiculous, I'm all for her reinvesting, but not quite to that level.

Still either way, its certainly not 50 euros!

It is a quid for my daughter too.

That's cos I'm a cheapskate Northerner though.

A five year old doesn't really need a fiver, it may go up as she gets older... but probably not Wink

Hello lovely Big grin

Yeah they're doing great, we are very much enjoying a good window of calm where neither of them are teething or ill or going through *insert any of the many nightmare phases*. Just steadying ourselves for whatever comes next Wink

Hows your family? I've not spoken to you for bloomin' ages, how was it adding number 2 into the equation?

Edit: Also at 5 and 3 not really babies any more! Eek!

There's a window of calm?!?! How long does it last?

Well, I thought adding a second baby meant I just doubled my work load. BIG GIANT LOL. I feel like there's about 11 seconds in every day where I don't have anything to do. I love those 11 seconds.

I love having a baby boy though, he's so squishy and kissable. Lucy adores him too, he's always got a tiara/lipgloss/Minnie Mouse ears on, much to Ian's delight.
