The police in Malaysia have quotas of foreigners they have to bust. It was on newsnight the other day. Something about human rights, and planting stuff. I'd watch out for who's watching you lad. They usually nab you at check in apparently.

My guess is they use bribes to supplement their income and have a target number.
You definitely need to be careful Kerb, especially in Thailand. I heard of cases where foreigners were set up by the dealers, police ready to swoop when the deal was done whilst the snitch went free.

That happened to me mate, in thai you can just pay off the coppers
here it's classed the same as trafficking. You will be sentenced to death...
Thailand I can get weed at the bars and resturants easy and smoke on the beach.
