» Cloud Observer (Remixes)

Label: Omniset Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive / Trance

With a host of remixes, Omniset Records drops Cloud Observer by aran. This includes the Original Mix plus 10 (count 'em!) remixes on offer, including Tycoos and Nhato versions.

The original mix is a chilled affair; taking in floaty synths and benign bass-lines, a break from the normal, standardised, trance affairs. Omniset is a new label to me but on this offering, I'd like to hear more. Definitely chilled prog house; perhaps the starter for a compilation album? It's actually rather beautiful. Cascading beats float in and out like radiant raindrops. Smile

Of the remixes, and there are a fair few, its the Nhato remix that tickles my tastebuds. The Tycoos remix is also sublime as well. If you don't know Nhato by the way, there was a version of theirs on Aly & Fila's "Rising Sun" remix album. They remixed "Without You (The Never Knowing)".

I shall leave you to discover the other remixes for yourselves. Wink Lets just say there's a wide variety on offer and each one has something for everyone.
