Paul Oakenfold featuring Baby E

» Shine On (Craig Connelly Remix)

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 19-07-22 13:07

Label: Perfecto
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

First we had the Paul Oakenfold x Mark Roma and Glynn Alan remixes, now we have Craig Connelly on remix duties for Oakey's "Shine On", featuring Baby E, on Perfecto, a label that needs very little, if any, introduction.

For his remix, Craig Connelly sets phasers to full and unleashes a full barrage of trance. Epic trance for that matter. Taking Baby E's piercing vocals, which isn't a bad thing, he wraps them around a formidable bass-line and pulsing beat section. Its more anthemic, if that was possible, than Glynn Alan's remix on the first remixes package. The edit is included too but I'd stick with the full version.

Big grin
