Saturday May 12th will be the date for something completely different at Leeds’ 33-year-old Warehouse venue. In honor of the fact that the headline act is hip-hop legend Grandmaster Flash, the whole three rooms of the place will be converted into almost festival like spaces with tons of extras and interactive treats taking place aside from the music.
As well as a host of DJs and scratchmasters, there will be a huge selection of local Leeds talent in the form of live rappers, beat boxers, break-dancers and graffiti artists, all of whom will help to capture that 80s and 90-s hip hop street vibe culture which has been so enduring in the ensuing years. All of whom will blast out their hip-hop and electro wares through the club’s peerless Funktion one sound system.
