Kris Day drops his latest release on Liquid Pulse. Its called "Activate" and features a remix by Ally Brown. The original mix combines acid riffs with tech-trance rhythms and basslines.
The Original Mix has a benign approach; with thin beats but roaring acid riffs which harbour some evilness. Mind you, saying that, they are kept at bay though and the beats and the main riff take prominence after the breakdown. Its a troublesome beast this and will cause devastation on the cooler dancefloors across the spectrum.
Ally Brown drops the remix and its a more straight-forward trance mix. It is faster and more aggressive than the front-end and actually serves as the lead mix with the Original being track 2. Its more or less hard trance with little echoes of the acid sounds of the original coming in. A solid-enough remix. I'd plump for the Original mix though.
