» Short Stories (Addendum)

Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 16-01-23 17:16

Label: Disco Gecko Recordings
Format: Digital
Genre: Ambient / Found Sound

On Short Stories (Addendum), Andrew Heath unleashes immersive remixes of the Short Stories album. These are remixed versions of "stories" from the original album. This follows his expansive remix of Banco de Gaia's "The Princess And The Sky Goat" from the 9th Of Nine Hearts album.

With this remix album, the versions are expansive and immersive with seven tracks selected for the new edition. Personally, I like this album. Its very much like his previous works on Disco Gecko.

My favourite track is the Addendum remix of The Trees Seem Closer Today. Its quite quiet and measured.
