Totally shocked and saddened to hear this terrible news.

At first I thought this thread was a wind-up, in true Alex internet urban legend style......but after 11 pages, 304 posts and 13501 views it seems even Snopes can't fix this one Frown

I always enjoyed Alex's company when out and about and on the interweb. I had a lot of respect for his totally shameless un-politically correct sense of humor and wit.

A kind friend who helped me out when times were hard, I knew I could rely on Alex for some ridiculously stupid laughs.

A completely unique person, the world will be a duller place without him.

I spoke to alex about it about 3 weeks ago, he said he still had the drive in a lock-up (or such like) with more of his stuff.
