I personally find nathan a very kind and professional promoter, who genuinely listens to his clubbers and does what he can to make the party as good as it possibly can be - that means listening to people's complaints and taking action. I fully understand your view point and am sorry that you were the centre of the complaint, but from reading your post i can fully understand his actions and think he acted reasonably and from what you have written spoke to you in a professional matter and did his best to be understanding.

Yeah, that

What's your point?

the concept of PLUR is probably THE most stupid thing to come out of the rave scene. so.... so.... american.

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over - Hunter S Thompson

Im with Nathan 100% on this. Tilt clearly targets a certain demographic and whilst not excluding anyone who doesnt happen to fall within that demographic, they must respect the wishes of the people that they run the club for. Having looked at the photo it is obvious to everyone that Tilt isnt the club to go to in that attire. Theres loads of wicked clubs out there that do cater for that demographic so why the need to impose on Tilt a set of standards which clearly dont apply.

I wouldnt expect to be allowed into Torture Garden wearing jeans and a t shirt but I also wouldnt jump on my high horse and cry discrimination when refused. Different strokes for different folks.

And as for the cash over principles swipe... I understand that a full refund was given.

I dont know what to think about it. Personally, I dont have any problem with what people wear, who gives a fuck, but I dont blame Nathan, coz in the end as someone said it isnt Torture Garden and some people might not feel comfortable dancing next to a guy in pants. On the other hand tho, Im sure if a girl was dressed like that no one would mind. Moons

And that's the whole problem. I doubt any people who have been saying that his being asked to leave was justified would have complained if it were a couple of girls wearing hotpants and the like.
