It all started with just a few mates messing around on some decks at Northwood Parish Hall in Stoke on Trent, in the year 2003! We hired a hall, can't remember how much we paid and we did a sort of pre-party for the Void (Golden), which went on until Mid-night and then we went straight across to Golden! It only started out as a laugh with a few mates!! Didn’t think at the time it would turn into what it has now.
British Pounding Music has progressed to a secure Hard Dance night within the space of two years, which has seen the small night progress to Stoke on Trent's premier Hard Dance night! The following two parties will certainly put British Pounding Music on the Hard Dance map, and will see some of the biggest names in Hard Dance coming to Stoke on Trent in the next few months and fulfill my dream for BPM!
"People said it couldn't be done" - "I PROVED THEM WRONG!!"
Will we be here in another two years?……Of course we will, all being well! Even if its in a Village Hall again!
April the 29th will see British Pounding Music's second birthday (part one) at Zero Nightclub and will feature the biggest night we have put on in Stoke on Trent since BPM was founded two years ago. We will be welcoming PAUL GLAZBY to BPM for the first time since the demise of Golden, I guarantee this is one not to be missed for the harder generation of Stoke on Trent and all for a £5… If that isn’t value for money I don’t know what is!
Also appearing on the night will be Tidy Trax's starlet, and one of Stoke on Trent's favorites AMBER D!! Amber is returning back to her hometown for the BPM birthday celebrations.
If that’s not enough we are including another rising star in the line up – AYRESY (Princess Tidy) Kym has been one of our residents now for the past year. Also the founder of Dilate, Kym’s own night, which is going strong. Its not only BPM celebrating a birthday, Kym will also be celebrating her birthday so something tells me we will have to make sure there’s plenty of alcohol on the premises!! First rounds on me Kym!
