Yeah but she seemed pretty stuck in her ways. I kept tryin to lure her to the snack table, but she ran off.
I agree with the bad parenting, it could be an issue or maybe she has overweight parents and she may of heard about them being teased or anything. I made sure it wasnt any one else in the class making her feel that way though..poor thing. Frown

Its something I feel really strongly about aswell and ive had experience with, just not at SUCH a tender age.

Might be best not to make an issue of it at all. Just keep an eye on whether she's healthy or not. Making an issue out of it, even in a "positive" way can contribute to eating disorders. It could be as much about control and attention as about being fat.

I'm sorry, did you say "blah"?

Do you think they can develop from as young an age as say, 5?

Disturbed I didnt think so, as conscience and ego etc aren;t really 100 percent in place and kids of that age should be in no way inflicted by the media? But seen something at nursery I was in today that striked me as quite worrying.

Quite simply yes they can. This is a topic i unfortunately know a great deal about Jen, if you need any more info, PM me babe.

Eating disorders are dull.

Say that when someone close to you has suffered from one.

A fucking nightmare they may be. Life-destroyers as well. But certainly not dull.

Yup.
and they certainly ain't about food, either
