EARTHDANCE
The greatest dance festival in the world will take place on
Date: 15 SEPTEMBER 2007
There are over 340 venues participating and this year will be the 10th year in South Africa.
EARTHDANCE JOHANNESBURG (GAUTENG) will celebrate the event with a weekend festival at NALEDI on the banks of the Hennops River with camping, festivities, bands and DJs to keep you dancing day and night, drum circles, dance, ceremonies, performers, Rejuvenation Station, kids facilitated entertainment etc. etc. etc.
This year the global theme is "Honouring The Waters" and Johannesburg will be focussing on giving back to the Earth and among stunning exhibition stands will also have an Alternative Energy expo creating awareness of solar power, bio-diesel, etc.
At 1am SA time on Sunday morning all venues around the world connect and all DJs play
"A Prayer for Peace" A most awesome unifying moment!
Profits this year will be going to Hospice in the West and Starfish.
Bring any unused and unwanted items as these charities will have collection bins at the event.
We need help with sponsorship and volunteers who would like to be involved and make it happen.

At 00.30 the bands are completed and we start with the build up and ritual for the global link up at 1am SA time, which will include the "prayer for peace" followed by a "global om" and fire dancing. Once the global link up is complete, the Dj's take over. Dj Line up already posted previously!
