Massive thanks to Christian Burkhardt who well and truly delivered a musical lesson for us all at Basing House back in April.
Next up we have Alex Cellar & Anthea playing B2B (3 Hour Set) and for those of you who have been lucky to catch these two playing in the past, you'll know that it's going to be a serious night of music and for those who haven't yet had the pleasure then you're in for a treat!
ALEX CELLER
At the time of writing, Alex Celler is one of only two acts that can boast to having more than one track in RA’s top 30 all-time chart. As an indicator of quality, this is an accolade which is hard to surpass.
Alex’s music has a style which is energetic and intense, a tech house/techno sound full of swing, complex rhythms & deep basslines and a style which is aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Always keeping the quality levels high and choosing not to release music too frequently, the resulting demand has seen Alex continue his associations with Area Remote and Cecille, as well Tuning Spork, Freak n’ Chic, on Lauhaus’s Soweso label (as Steller).
ANTHEA
Anthea began to learn the art of DJ’ing back in 1997 and in the intervening years has come up through the ranks demonstrating a subtlety and sophistication that most of her male counterparts can only wish for.
Her keen sense of mood and groove, and sleekly funk-driven productions have seen fledgling efforts debuted on key labels Freak n’Chic, Cecille, Supplement-Facts and Tuningspork – the next year will bring releases on Supernature, and much more.
