The venue used to be the old Odeon Cinema and has a capacity of up to 2200 people.
The venue itself is 'cone shaped' to increase the surround sound so volume and sound quality is enhanced.
There is a large balcony that over looks the main dance floor and will hold up to 300 people at one time.
Facing the main dance floor is a large stage with a 40 ft screen and you can imagine how it looked when it was first used as a picture house, but the screen on dance events will be used to project moving images.
The venue is ideal as it is in the centre of Newport with easy access to the bus and train stations and motorway. There are also car parking facilites available.

Directions: BY ROAD
1. Exit the M4 at junction 26 before the Brynglas tunnels
2. Follow the signs for the City Centre and the railway station
3. Pass Sainsburys on your left and you will come to a roundabout -next to the castle.
4. Take the first left off the roundabout and you will turn into Clarence Place.
5. Car parking is 100 yds above Iceland to your left.
6. The NCLA is further along the road about 100yds on the left. Opposite the Cenataph.
