Fabio XB and Linnea Shossow turn up on Enhanced's Digital Society imprint for a vocal trancer with remixes coming from Q'Bass, Store N Forward and Mark Sherry. There's also a Fabio XB & Lele Troniq mix in the package too.
In its Original Mix form, Be My All is a tough cookie to crack with spiky synths firing through its exterior. As a result, the vocals fit quite well and I have to be honest, I find them strangely alluring; what with the whispery nature of them. The beats are tough and the synths are robust and really quite potent.
On the remix front, of which there are four, Fabio's own remix with Lele Troniq offers something a bit tougher but with the same basic tempo and with a more toughened shell and generally pulled back synths. It still retains the whispered vocals but delves deeper into the ethos of the track.
Mark Sherry dons his tech-trance hat and delivers a chunk-laden mix that smacks of his Outburst style of music. To be honest, this has the feel of Hardfloor's seminal mix of Mory Kante's Yeke Yekebut with the traditional Sherry flavour to it. I nearly said Cherry but thought better of it.
The Store N Forward mix is a glitchy trance mix and offers a bit more punch in its structure and a growling riffic bassline. Its almost the same speed as the Original but with a more varied approach. Saying that though, there's a unique feel to it as well. Nice.
Q'Bass save the best for last. A full-on, uplifting, club-friendly trance re-rub that changes the game plan completely and turns the track on its head. For the main trancefloors, this is the one to head for; in fact, this is more the sorta trance you'd find on the main Enhanced label or the other releases on Digital Society so its a good remix to end on.
