Label: Unearthed Records
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

To the main Unearthed label we go and the new one from Facade. As we edge ever closer to Unearthed 100, this is Half Way Home with mixes coming from UDM and Kago Pengchi.

As this is Unearthed, the music you're getting isn't as full-on as their Red imprint is but nevertheless, the trance that is on show is still danceable. For me, its the UDM remix that takes my fancy. Firing on all cylinders, it offers a full-bodied, peak-time, trance assault of epic proportions. It combines the sounds of the Original Mix with some funky uplifting elements and really encapsulates the sound of Unearthed Red while still keeping the feel of Unearthed.

Kago Pengchi has had releases on Crystal Source and here, he provides a remix of theatrical proportions. After the original mix, this is, like the UDM mix, more suited to the main dancefloor and certainly the more uplifting floors. Having said that though, the Original Mix, which I haven't mentioned yet, is a calm and sedate progressive-esque number with some cool synth work and a calm, collected, rhythm section.

The mixes that appeal to me are the UDM and Kengo mixes but the Original is a good front-line mix.
