Binary Finary & Genix » Smoking Gun Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 26-06-12 19:59 Label: Digital Society Recordings Format: Digital Genre: Trance After "Isle Of Lies" with Daniel Wanrooy, Binary Finary fire off another collaboration; this time with Genix. This features a remix from Sequentia. On first listen, this doesn't have the intensity of Isle Of Lies but the techiness of Binary Finary and the ability of Genix helps build a somewhat rumbly atmosphere. Whether it'll meet the heights of the previous track remains to be seen but if it gets a push, it may well do. Sequentia offer a remix that is shy of 6 minutes but abundant in thump and melodic-ness. Does that even make sense? Anyway, with this one, the German-Dutch duo have crafted an exquisite re-rub that packs a wallop; even if it is short. Cool use of the main riffs too.
