Diverted Music are putting out some solid trance music for your listening, and buying, pleasure. This is the latest one from Aeden. Its called Nocturnes and contains remixes from Touchstone, Light & Wave and Ice Upon Fire.
Touchstone is the first to offer up a remix and here, he hits the ground with a slamming slice of epic power trance. Team 140 will be all over this. He's taken the classic structure and injected a bit of wallop. One of the most devastating remixes I've heard for a while. Nice to see him take a break from Digitized Recordings too.
The Original Mix is the second mix on offer; usually original mixes are given top billing but not here. Its the trance of old but done in a 2012 setting with powerful synths and an epic bassline. Proper trance executed to perfection. And how! There's some beautiful arps in here and a piano interlude that is tear-inducing. Nice work.
Light & Wave is/are a new name to me but the sound isn't. Its slightly slower than the other mixes but loses none of the potency. A no-nonsense mix here. The final mix is by Ice Upon Fire and here, the emphasis is drawn to a tech-like structure but with an aggressive main synth line and powerful uplifts.
To summarise, this is a top-notch slice of classically-produced trance with some epic remixes. Seek it out.
