Label: Enhanced Recordings
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance
Vocalist Fisher teams with Vast Vision on Will Holland's Enhanced imprint for a lustful, melancholic, trancer called Hurricane. Remixes come from Ost & Meyer and Stonevalley.
Basically, Hurricane is a melodic trancer which has all the usual Enhanced traits; warm, slightly floaty and, strangely for Enhanced, unstable. Fisher's vocals are slightly angst-ridden; like a relationship has ended and a new one begun. Its pretty much unlike anything unveiled on the red label but, strangely, its also very Enhanced. If you get me.
Ost & Meyer pop up again on the Enhanced label to drop a melodic, progressive, mix that breaks away from the norm. Containing the elements of the Original Mix but with added glitchy synths and buzzing riffs, it wraps the vocals around a robust body. Its a competently-built mix with the usual Ost & Meyer attention to detail.
The final mix is provided by Stonevalley and while its slower than Olivier's more full-on work, it still houses the thump that made the Frenchman so appealing. Phat beats and a melodic whump encircle the vocals to create an altogether more melancholic remix; similar to the Original but more refined. I don't think its his best mix per se but it is suitably anthemic with nice synths and unstable nature.
