Darren Tate's Mondo imprint hits out with the new one from Matt Eray. This is called "Gift" and contains a remix from Jective.
The Original Mix is slow-paced, not in tempo though, progressive-like trance with a bit of uplift to get you going. Designed for the Summer, this is a melodic driver with stabby synths and a buzzing riff moving its way to the forefront. Futurist? I think so, yeah, but if you're expecting full-on power trance, you're not going to get it. What you do get, however, is a trancer that has guts and heart. There's a nice build up and a good kick back in. Give it a try.
Jective dons the Muska mask and drops a deeper, more methodical, re-rub. Its slower than the front-ended mix but that doesn't mean a loss of potency. Its a somewhat more buzzing affair with emphasis on the main riff. Its obviously deeper than the Original and a wee bit slower, as I said. That does lose it a few points but myself, I think I prefer the Original Mix.
