Its by Akira Kayosa and Hugh Tolland. The cover art is very striking (literally) and so is the tune itself. It comes in two flavours; the original mix and a classic mix. Disconnected follows the same Kayosa & Tolland pattern of banging anthemic trance...as always when these two get together. A veritable downpour of a tune, this, with plenty of the upliftiness you often get with tunes of this ilk. It is anthemic with a rhythmic synth line that is cool and breezy. The Classic Mix goes back to basics and concentrates on the 1999-era of trance; the era when many feel that trance was ripe and vibrant. It still is vibrant, by the way. Here, the vibe has a more rumbly feel to it, no doubt to reflect its thundery nature, and a distinctly electrostatic feel. Its slightly better than the Original but not by much, mind.
