» Drifting Through Darkness

Label: Unearthed Red
Format: Digital
Genre: Trance

To Unearthed's Red imprint we go and a collaboration between Unearthed boss Chris Turner and Luke Terry. This one is called Drifting Through Darkness and contains a remix from the Photographer.

As the title suggests, this is a dark-edged trancer and seeing as its on the Red arm of Unearthed, its pretty full-on. The Original Mix starts us off and is more of the music that has made this label such a favourite amongst the full-on crowd. The atmosphere is dark but not overly ominous so it is still playable and accessible during warm-up sets or main sets. The breakdown is pretty nice too and the pay-off is clean.

With the Photographer though, things get speedier and more aggressive with the tempo being increased and the power set to 100%; this is the real deal, the classic-esque trance that this label strives for and often achieves. I wouldn't bet against this being played by the likes of Tyas and O'Callaghan. Bring on the power! Big grin
