This is what Nitrous Oxide does best. Hooking up with Adam Kancerski, the duo unleash the Husaria project and here is the first instalment. This is Poznan, named after the city in Poland. These guys have appeared on Infrasonic before; one as producer, one as remixer.
Poznan
Poznan is presented in its Original Mix and can be described as the N20 we know from Anjunabeats eg solidly put-together trance music with an epic kick and emotion-driven synth riffs. The beats aren't overly hard and the basic structure is nice and potent. Sweet.
Day Break
With Day Break, things go a bit more disco-ey. Yes, really. Its still trance, mind you, but done in a different way. As a result, its not as anthemic as Poznan is but it still houses the N20 synthic bassline (the buzzing synth one) and a rhythmic pulse that takes prominence. Its also a bit more progressive than Poznan and that, for me, is a nice surprise considering the label its on. Definitely worth a buy.
