Polish producer Mysterious Movement resurfaces on SPX with the Atlantis EP. Well, that's a misnomer actually cos Morphine is the first track on it. Anyhoo, this is a three track EP as it has an intro mix of Atlantis as a cheeky bonus for set starters, radio shows or whatever.
Morphine is the starter and its a slow-burner. Its trance though so don't worry. As with all things Mysterious, its slightly cinematic but very methodical in the way it goes about its business. It follows his stellar work on, well, SPX and Mondo Records, with fellow Pole, Nitrous Oxide who, incidentally, has a new EP coming up on Infrasonic Its a nice enough track this with a lot of uplift.
Atlantis is as mysterious as the ancient lost city. It hits the ground running and is faster in tone as well as tempo. It flows well but what I'm most feeling is the Intro Mix which, as the name suggests, has a nice cinematic opening. I think the intro mix completes the tune and makes it more balanced. Sweet and epic basically.
