Vintage & Morelli

» Tree Of Life

Label: Perceptive Deep
Format: Digital
Genre: Progressive

Vintage & Morelli bursts on to the Perceptive Deep label again after the Flight Of The Phoenix EP for this groovy whimsical track called Tree Of Life. And I'm aware that 'has' might look weird here but Vintage & Morelli is in fact one person.

With remixes from Magnetik, Aerotek and Eastbound, there's something for everyone. The Original Mix is a bouncy slice of proggy-uplifting trance with a melodic tone and poise. Nice springy basslines and happy synths are the general order of the day.

Of the three remixes, the most interesting is probably the one by Magnetik which is a glorious chillout version. However, the Aerotek remake is a methodical, punch-laden, re-rub which grooves along at a leisurely pace. Its very Perceptive Deep and suits the label well.

The Eastbound mix is a bit more minimalist; sounding trancey but still with that slimmed down proglifting sound to it. Just as good as the Original but with a nice Chicane-style feel; Belearic basically.
