Part of the Alter Ego family, Inov8 Recordings is the uplifting section of the empire. A bit like the main Alter Ego label itself actually but with more power and a bit more oomph. This is Aperture by Colin James & Johnny Major.

This is an uplifter of epic proportions. Packed with heavy-sounding synths and powerful riffs, this one kicks in all the right places. There are two mixes; the Original and a remix by Origin. The Original Mix is the one which'll get the most plays from the full-on crowd but the Origin remix is somewhat more refined and proggy. Its not proglifting as such but it does have that melodic feel to it. My pick is the original mix with its powerful basslines and emotional riffs.
