Danish trance supremo Daniel Kandi presents his latest work on Enhanced. This is Insert Generic Title, the remix of which features on the forthcoming Digitally Enhanced 5 compilation. That remix incidentally comes from Daniel Kandi himself and Dennis Pederson.
The Kandiman has left the title ambiguorous so you can basically name it yourself so to speak but myself, I think Insert Generic Title is a really good title for it. Anyway, the Original Mix is the same piece of uplifting trance that the Dane is known, and loved, for. I really like the meaty riff after the breakdown. Very potent.
Daniel Kandi teams up with Dennis Pederson for a more proglifting re-rub. The duo's contrasting styles really come to the fore here. That said, there was a proglifting remix of Estiva's “Better Days” which found favour with me and this is pretty much similar; a similar kind of tone and general feel to it. The shuffly feel, the general texture, is full of colour and that shines through really.
