On Neverending Story Recordings, this is the new offering from Danish artist Dreamy. This is the first of two new offering with a second single, “Ixion”, coming out in April on MindLift. This one, however, is a melancholic banger with remixes coming from Aero 21, Tensile Force and Shokey.
Keeping the full-on vibe alive, and following the lead of TrancEye, Aly & Fila and Daniel Kandi, Dreamy has fired off a rather nicely executed trancer; full of eerie piano lines with an epic feel. Fans of the driving sound will love this. To be honest though, I can see the likes of Sean Tyas being all over this.
The remixes are no less banging. My favourite is probably the Aero 21 remix; it maintains the fast tempo of the original anhd has a more epic feel to it. Nice bassy sound too. Shokey, however, keep things simple and restrained; opting more for a straight-laced, clubbier, version. Tensile Force go fast and banging, like Aero 21, but more widescreen with a tough drive and a meaty kick. Decent.
