» Speakers Burn

Reviewed by Jon Rundell / Submitted 22-01-02 10:31

Label: Hot Wax
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre:

After their great succeses on Elasticman and Nukleuz, Hotwax take on this dynamic duo and they certainly don't dissapoint. Speakers Burn takes on a new slant for the label and provides a more driving and trance influence to the old oink oink that has previously done so well for them.

While the hard mix drives along in a similar vein to the Nukleuz outings, containing some wicked riff paterns that are now becoming the artists trademark style; the trance mix explores another avenue as the label diversifies once more and continues its rise to fame.

Both mixes are full of energy and to be honest I can't make up my mind which I prefer, however both are suitable for any occasion and will leave any rave monkey begging for more bananas. Another essential piece of vinyl.
