Venezuelan duo Fur Coat (aka Israel Sunshine and Sergio Munoz aka Delete) are offering a free download of brand new track Don't You Know to promote upcoming album Mind Over Matter.
The seriously groovy deep house cut is available in return for users providing their email addresses and is as good if not better as the 13 tracks on their debut album which comes out on Crosstown Rebels in September.
Starting producing and DJing in 2004, Sergio initially built his career under solo name Delete, going on to release scores of tracks on labels including Safari Electronique, Sci+Tec, Saved, Get Physical and Viva.
Teaming up with Israel more recently, the pair appear almost certain to enjoy instant crossover success when the album is released though chatting to Skrufff earlier this year, Sergio revealed his journey has been far from simple so far.
“The hardest obstacle was finishing my degree as a journalist, living in Venezuela, while doing my music career. Finally, I’ve graduated and can work 100% on my music,” he admitted.
“There are many mistakes you can make in this music business, especially coming from Venezuela,” he continued.
“When I started signing records to European labels there was no-one to guide me or to learn from. I just sent tracks out and had to learn on my own. So I learned about the music industry by making mistakes and doing corrections.”
