Up and comer Russha cuts his teeth with new EP ‘Voices’ on New State Music. Get ready for a bass heavy high-energy thrill ride in this debut release.
Already getting praises for plays over on XFM over his tracks from his upcoming ‘Voices’ EP, in particular ‘Transylvania’ a fan favorite, which utilizes old school samples, a drop that combines high-octane heavy bass with high pitch 8 bit arrangements. Throw in a healthy dose of reverb and a dash of cut up vocals and viola instant summer party track!
Russha is a welcome break from the frequent rise of producers (especially in electro house) that have started to churn out quite “samey” sounds.
Russha creates and draws much of his inspiration from influences such as Knife Party, Wolfgang Gartner, Receptor and Noisia to name but a few.
Arguably some of the hardest working bunch of guys, in electro today. He aims to follow in suite with his very own brand of genre titled ‘Interstellarstep’ a very maximalist style that incorporates the banging techno of Noisia, the imagination of early Kill the Noise, the point on production prowess of Knife Party and to top it all off he shares the same genre advancing spirit of Wolfgang Gartner.
