The Expendables - 5/10.

If you love explosions and over the top gun fights and violence, this is the movie for you. The movie is 90% blowing up things/guns etc and 10% script. It tries way too hard. I got bored half way through and switched off. This movie has an amazing cast, pity the Director didn't do anything decent with them.

But that's the whole point.

It's supposed to be a novelty film with all of the generic action heroes & features exaggerated action.

If you take it seriously, then you're not going to enjoy it.

If you work on the premise it's a novelty film, then it is entertaining.

Alice in Wonderland. 7/10
Avatar 6/10 too political and predictable.

I did not watch a film last night.

I watched the season 2 finale of Mad Men.

im watching mad men, it's awesome! just watched episodes 4-7 of season 1, and it's all starting to get very tense

also watched sexy beast this weekend (again)... an absolute classic and one of my favourote films of all time. i just love that they love each other so much.

And I have seen the eternal Footman hold my coat, and snicker,
And in short, I was afraid.'

Down Terrace. It's a low budget British film about a gangster family. Very dark and wickedly funny in places. Well worth a watch and it's got my nephew in it.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

Great fight scenes and a few chuckles, but slow to get going.

7/10

KICK-ASS and I thought it was excellent. A comic storyline mixed in with tonnes of comedy, guns, deaths and a hot chick !
