Drive.

Surely the most overrated, pretentious movie of recent times!! Great turn by Al Brooks though.

Was debating whether or not to make a thread of this as its a bit silly but I read today that Gary Linker is now the BBC's highest earner at about £2m a year so no I feel ultimately compelled!!!

Anyway, my original point: Ed Norton - Hollywood's most overrated actor, surely!! He snores his way through every role with a monotone expression and yet everyone thinks he's terrific. His best role was arguably Fight Club imo but thats only because the role was written for his one dimensional insomniac-inspired cack!!

Who else needs to be culled from the echelons of celluloid?

I disagree - I thought it was awesome. a great departure from the usual mainstream tat delivered by the yanks and a great pastiche of 80's movies (Risky business etc..) subtle and intense.

back to thread Liam Neeson annoys me greatly - he always plays the same character. Christopher Lambert and Scarlett Johannsen grate massively as does Renee Zellweger and Charlize Theron....

Charlize Theron is not beyond redemption though....Pervert

Charlize Theron....

I'm on the fence with her. Some roles she is schmaltzy blonde fluff, others she puts in a good turn. I get annoyed at her recent schmaltz because of Monster. *

*Schmaltz is not the word I was looking for.**

** actually, it was, according to UD.

Spiderman 2

Dont understand why everyone rates this movie! After you see Octopus once, its pretty much the same trick over and over.
