I'm training for my first marathon at the end of October, but to be honest I entered it long before the Olympics. I also play hockey twice a week. So I don't really have time for another sport
Wow! I do a bit of jogging round the park but could never manage a marathon. Good for you!

Not take up new sports, but do more.
Wondering how Boris's 2 hour's sport every day for school kids will work, currently the target is 2 hours a week.
Was wondering that myself. Forcing kids to do sport will only make them resent it more unless you have decent sports facilities and can vary the sport widely. It's also rather shitty when you have 3% keen on sport who do well and they end up taking all the focus from teachers, thus making the others feel inept and hating sport even more.
I would say an hour a day would be enough, with extra time available for those who want it.

In answer to the question though, not really. I do however need to get back in shape as I have become very lazy and although I will always be somewhat skinny, I am badly out of shape. Tennis will help, as will not taking the bus three stops home and walking up Knights Hill every day.
