To each his own I guess. I personally love that dark, hard, squat party psy trance music.
You like D&B though rite? Every squat has at least 2 rooms and the smaller ALWAYS playing D&B!
Yeah, that's the only thing that'd make me go. Perhaps the French hardcore too that I've been told has been getting played more and more recently. That stuff is insanely good fun.
I mean, I can deal with the dirt of the venue - my first 'rave' experiences were at The Sanctuary - home of scummy sweaty slimy walls - but the psy, which seems to be MASSIVE on the squat scene... no, I just can't.

Went to a free party in a tower block called The Euro Tower about 13 years ago.
Was basically like a hostel because when the residents woke up and joined the party at about 6am they really did bring the vibe down.
Great party though. Got smashed beyond belief and then enjoyed a gurny 2 hour cab drive back.
Actually just remembered the crack on. That was hillarious.
I think it is fair to say that everyone on the Internet is annoying.

The D&B they play is dark and grimy! None of the Liquid D&B that they play at Fabric, which in all honest I prefer the hard D&B.
See, this is exactly it, I dont actually like the hardcore or Gabba that they played on sat ( see my first video) and much prefer the psy. The only thing that really got me through was being off my chops on ket and mud and the random shit that was going on around me
I was at the scumoween in 2010, that was awesome. Glad I made it out that night. Same guys put on an awesome outdoor in .2005 in barking which was well worth the trek, was much like an outdoor festival with about 8 stages. Seen some crews combine there systems into a mega sound wall. That was impressive.

Yeah, my mate does lighting for a lot of the squats and his rig was at Scumoween. Said it was utter crazyness but one of the best squats he can remember.
Meant to be an outdoor this weekend. To be fair the same guys have been trying to do an outdoor for the past 4 weeks but the weather has been a right bastard so hoping the one on Sat can still be outdoor.

Best ones I went to were in the West Country. Venues were great (mostly), the drugs were bang on and the music was fresh and vibrant.
Not been to many in London, I think I'm too old to tolerate all the posey cunts and the fucked up weirdos.
Have come across nothing but really nice people at the recent ones i have been too. Not posey at all, uni students for sure but really nice, down to earth people none the less. Weirdos, well thats a given
