So having been off the squat scene for about a 8years I have been 3 weekends on the trot and gotta say, I fucking love Squat Parties.

Something about the people that I much prefer than say the House scene. Way more down to earth, not so pretentious and as I have found my 'inner hippie' prefer the atmosphere. Very grimy and dirty, but being off my nut on ket dont mind that at all. Old trainers, jeans and away you go. Get involved!

Music wise, 2 of 3 I went to were Psy but the one on Sat was Gabba which for me is a bit much but was 10 min walk from my house in Camberwell.

Any of you still attend warehouse parties?

o/ went to good one after lost dawn, again psy but still good. Warehouse parties as well but they are more of the commercial style warehouse rather than the freeparty/squat scene however have music that is more to my tastes.

Which one was that? I joined the Art of Psychadelia group and they seem to throw the best Psy squats!

Yeah, i like the illegal ones, although Im not so sure they are that illegal anymore. Have bouncers, they charge to get in and there certainly arent the dodgy crackhead folk that I used to remember when I used to squat years ago, although they used to be D&B squats and not so much psy.

Been to a few in my time. Very mixed quality to them. Wouldn't mind going again sometime. When's your next one Iain? Be good to consider tagging along.

Yeah bro. They are certainly a lot safer than they used to be. Plus, the people are very cool and chilled out.

I should be going to one on Sat, but am 50/50. Will definitely keep you in the loop and see if you are around when I go, even if not this weekend Smile

Hows you otherwise? See you doing a bit of travelling recently...

Yeah good man. Been off 'the scene' for quite a while now. Finding my inner balance with the Alexander Technique and Tai Chi and not having huge mash ups. Am feeling like a boogy coming up though. I'll be in touch. How's thing your end?

Good to hear mate. I guess also being with a Mrs helps calm down. Happy for you duder Smile

I'm really well, work is flying atm and finding myself due to having a few weekend sessions on acid. Happy in life if truth be told, couldnt really ask for more apart from having a steady GF Razz

Skara.

It was shit mate, pure shit. There were two dogs (actual canines) just roaming around, people pissing inside the venue and the music was dire.

I stayed only as I waited for the trains to start running. Yeah I was dancing, but it was either that or just stand being annoyed.

The funny thing is Ed thought I was enjoying it so left me to it.

If I'd have known he was going I would have left with him.

For me.

It's nice bars, over priced drinks and nice women from now on.
