I watched something recently where Stephen Mangan went. It definitely looked like it was worth a visit.
Hollywood?

Salar de Uyuni is another pretty spectacular place.
Blimey bro, pretty envious of the things you have already seen. Good stuff
Loads and loads that I haven't seen though. For example, I've only been to South Africa on the whole of the African continent. I know I have mentioned the Sahara, but that is somewhere I want to go to, rather than a place I have been to.

shit man , whats prices like over that way, weather etc?
is it a good holiday
Well you have to camp there (about $15 a night). I think maybe there's a small hotel / B&B in the area. Most expensive thing is your flight obviously and then you can either hire a car and drive up there from SF or get the coach.
Weather depends on when you go. I went in May and there were patches of snow on the ground up a height but it was still warm. It snows quite late into the year I think.

How far off is your ext South Amerrican trip?
You have still seen more than most will see in their whole lifetime.
Well, the way work is going it looks like I might actually leave it for another year. I have been workign on some big projects that complete in the beginning of the year and after weighing up the financial gain against travelling, well the money is too much to miss out on.

Heh, I got sunburnt while I was there and the patches of snow were few and far between but remember you're at altitude and in the mountains so there's bound to be snow, especially as its west coast US.
