Born in Ukraine, Dimitry’s career in music has a somewhat unusual beginning; From the age of 8 he was a Professional Ballroom Dancer and was a familiar face in worldwide competitions as well as on the TV program ‘Come Dancing’
On moving to London 12 years ago his passion for dancing, music and performance moved to the underground clubs of London. His DJ career kicked off in January 2003 when after being spotted by producers of Smoke FM, he began his own weekly internet radio show ‘Saturday Warm Up For Harder Generation’. Playing the latest tracks from the wide range of hard dance and techno his show attracted listeners from as far as Australia.
Dimitry is now playing in clubs around London next to some of the big names in the business and recently played the warm up set for JamesZabiela at PUSH: Sunday Sessions at The White House. He also played alongside Dirty Angels and Thursty DJs at the glamorous PASHA-London.
Now involved in the promotion of the new house night INJURY TIME at SouthSide Bar (www.injury-time.com) and also busy writing tracks reviews for several online magazines.

This August we return to Shoreditch’s South Place Hotel paying homage to the force that is Horse Meat Disco for an all-day terrace party. Not to be forgotten though, this is a party of two halves as the disco and house regiment will be carried on till the early hours at XOYO with very, very special guests Dimitri From Paris and dOp (live).
As with every XOYO Loves event we want to feature the stand-out figures and artists who we have huge admiration for: we’re honoured to be hosting this event with the Horse Meat Disco collective at the helm.
